Know how the animal will be transported to the facility. This includes the type of vehicle used and what it will be wrapped in during transportation. The animal can be wrapped in a soft blanket or piece of cloth.
Choose the internment method that you are most comfortable with. The animal can either be buried or cremated individually or in mass grave. If you want the ashes of the animal returned to you, opt for individual cremation. If you do not want the ashes back, then mass cremation will be suitable.
If you want to memorialize the animal, you can have souvenirs made from its body parts. This includes its paws, bones or fur. You can also have photos of it taken and used to make jewelry.
