Some companies have scheduled times for picking up dead animals from certain animal clinics. The company may be available to pick up the animal even at night or during holidays, but you may have to pay a bit more for this.

Know how the animal will be transported to the facility. This includes the type of vehicle used and what it will be wrapped in during transportation. The animal can be wrapped in a soft blanket or piece of cloth.

Choose the internment method that you are most comfortable with. The animal can either be buried or cremated individually or in mass grave. If you want the ashes of the animal returned to you, opt for individual cremation. If you do not want the ashes back, then mass cremation will be suitable.
