Inquire whether the company offers pick-up services. Most mortuaries work in liaison with animal hospitals to pick up dead animals. If the animal dies in hospital, ask the hospital if they are affiliated with any service provider, who will pick up the remains. If the animal passes on in your house, call the company directly and ask them to pick up the animal.

The method of transportation matters. Ask the company which mode of transportation they will use and if they only transport the animals or any other things. Most animal owners prefer to have the animal wrapped in a cloth, rather than having it dumped into a plastic bag.
