Tombstones Designs In South Africa

Facts You Should Notice When Designing Prayer Cards

Once you have found out that someone you know has died, you will normally want to help out in whatever way you can. It is also common practice to offer tokens of sympathy such as a funeral prayer cards or flowers. This is a good way to show empathy towards the grieving family members of the deceased.

Religious families will appreciate that you have prayed for their lost loved one. It is a spiritual offering that is generally acceptable. If you want to give something else, consider sending a potted shrub as a token of remembrance. This shrub can be kept in the pot or planted into the ground to represent a long lasting memorial to the deceased.

You may also give a memorial stone with a nice quotation or text engraved on it. That piece of stone slab can be placed in a pretty garden as a memorial to their deceased family member. Have pleasant words written on it that will bring back happy memories of their loved one.

If you have photographs of the deceased that the family members do not have copies of, consider compiling them into an album. The recipients will appreciate this gift, especially if they have never seen the pictures before. Most family members collect items of the deceased after they die and this could make a good offering to them.

Bringing beverages and food is a thoughtful token of support. You can bring over a tray of non-perishable foodstuff that can be served to guests. Make sure that you choose items that will not spoil quickly and will preferably last till the entombment.

It is a nice gesture to give prayer cards during the wake or after the burial. You can offer a card with a bouquet of flowers. Present it in a pretty leatherette folder or in a picture frame with a stand.
